ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Gregory A. Gauthier MBA
As founding member of Aperçu Advisors and Chief Executive Officer, Greg has over 25 years of experience in the business world. Greg worked at Oppenheimer & Co, Citizens Financial Group and Commonwealth Financial Group. Additionally, Greg owned his own consulting business, GT Financial, for 17 years.
He believes the resources and intellectual capital at Aperçu allows for seamless case design and holistic business solutions. Greg views his position as a consultant as that of a peacemaker, creating peace of mind and bringing an integrated, holistic team approach to each client.

Greg graduated from Assumption College in Business Management and received his MBA in Finance and Marketing from Providence College. Greg currently resides in Seekonk, MA with his wife and daughter. Gregory enjoys playing golf, traveling, and tries to learn something new each day. He very much enjoys his role as President of the Board for Camp Ruggles, a 43-year-old non-profit for children with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
Elissa P. Schwartz MBA MA
As a founding member of Aperçu Advisors and Chief Operating Officer, Elissa enjoys working directly with business owners, ensuring that they are positioning themselves for a successful financial future. Elissa has a background in education as well as in the financial services industry including New York Life and Commonwealth Financial Group.
Elissa takes an unbiased, holistic approach to her client's needs. Her love for analysis and plan development provides a strong foundation and her priority is to ensure that her clients are positioned well for the long term, managing risk and maximizing growth.
Elissa graduated from Brown University with a Bachelors in Art-Semiotics, received her MBA from Bryant University and her Masters in Education from Northeastern University. Elissa has a passion for animals and cooking. Outside of the firm, she enjoys teaching people how to ride horses, training her own two horses, and spending time with her family, both human and animal!
